EU’s active war against data-privacy

The EU is currently engaged in an active war against data privacy by attempting to pass laws that could enable mass surveillance. Initiatives such as the Protect EU and Chat Control Acts carry serious risks of becoming tools for mass surveillance across the entire EU. Furthermore, the way these measures are being planned at the highest levels of the EU is far more covert and insidious than many realize.

Markus Hölsä is Kotka made cybersecurity specialist that has made multiple reports regarding cybersecurity in companies, CaaS and AI threaths.
He is also the host of the podcast Turvaverkko, which covers cybersecurity topics in an accessible and understandable way.
Markus is an information security activist and has been studying EU legislation since 2022, when the first Chat Control Act was proposed.
